The Motherboard pendants are my latest pieces in the ACJ Upcycled Collection.
These pendants are the result of a combination of my interest in science (you have to say that like Thomas Dolby sang in “she blinded me with science!”) plus my and my daughter’s wish to not see this beautiful material – computer motherboards – end up in a landfill. The computer elements are encased in transparent, eco-friendly resin and set in a copper bezel.
This piece has 3 copper spokes with faceted Moss Agate cube accents jutting beneath the frame. Moss Agate is a technically a chalcedony rather than an agate because its inclusions are well, mossy instead of banded. Either way, it is a beautiful gemstone that you might find soothes you as you gaze into each stone’s unique patterns. That soothing feeling is also a characteristic of the energy of chalcedonies: Moss Agate is considered a stone of stability, persistence, and grounding.
Strung on an adjustable cord (color and material vary).
