I’ve probably mentioned my list of favorite gemstones before. It’s been an ever-growing list… until now. Super Seven crystal just might be the gemstone to rule them all because, well, I’ll just let you read my article.
My article on using gemstones to maintain joy and reduce stress during the holiday season is featured in The Wellness Universe.
Please take a read and then check out gemstone energy pieces I have highlighted on the front page of this, my new website!
The snow is finally melting! Yes, I know it’s mid-April. Such has been life in Minnesota. So much snow for far too long. Even though I’ve been snowbound for what’s seemed like forever, I also started contributing and collaborating with some awesome platforms (ok, Neil deGrasse Tyson says awesome should be reserved for science, but maybe he should check out these events too).
I’ll probably create an Events calendar, but until then, here are some upcoming happenings that I hope you can take advantage of.
I’m super excited to be one of the sponsors for the Ageless Beauty: Secrets From The Masters Summit.
The Summit begins April 21st – if you haven’t signed up do so now.
You won’t want to miss this event. You will learn tips and techniques on self-care, mindfulness, health and wellness topics such as beating fatigue, hormonal imbalances, managing stress, osteoporosis, food allergies and digestive issues.
Building A Community To Support YOU!
This event is to create a community to support, educate and empower women in the 2nd prime of their life. Life may be different – but it’s not over!
Gifts Valued At Over $1500!
By signing up you will receive over $1500 in gifts delivered to your inbox! These gifts include music, meditations, videos, herbal remedies, detox/weight-loss program, digital books and much more!
If you’re local and have also finally emerged from the snow, I invite you to the 31st annual IMAGE Art Show at the East Central Regional Arts Council.
I am one of the artists participating in this juried exhibit. The opening celebration is on Saturday, April 21st from 5 to 8 pm. The show will be open until April 27th.
SpendIndie was the official producer of this year’s first Wellness Expo at SXSW. I was hoping to share the news that I was one of the of event speakers, but I only made it to the standby list. I’m not mad – who would even be a no-show at such an amazing event! Amy Cousin Jewelry was also invited to have a booth at the Wellness Expo, but I couldn’t make it happen, this year. Ohhh but I am so there for 2019!!
In the meantime, I’m pleased to announce that Amy Cousin Jewelry has joined SpendIndie’s online market. I have a few items posted and will be adding more. When you visit the site, will you share and rate my pieces? That will help me keep the SXSW Wellness Expo booth offer on the table for ACJ.
I appreciate your support. Have a beautiful weekend!
My article on gender-based gemstone energy is featured in The Wellness Universe. I wrote it a few months ago in response to the many requests I’ve had – from women and some men – to help them balance their feminine and masculine energies in order to deal with the all that has been unleashed in 2017.
Also, I submitted the article – which I titled Moonstones Aren’t Just For Women: Gender-Based Gemstone Energy – several months before the original #MeToo hashtag was embraced and adopted by Hollywood. I’m sure I’ll write a follow article.
Please celebrate with me!

I’m also honored to have been asked to share my gemstone energy insights on The Wellness Universe a regular basis. Of course, sharing gemstone info includes sharing more jewelry (at least it does in my head!) so I will have new pieces to coincide each post.

Okay, so a lot of areas have been spring-like for a while so my exuberance might draw a yawn, but Spring! Up here in Minnesota, it’s finally starting to look like spring is coming. This season is about renewal – a time to step outside, stretch and grow. Here are a few sources that I have been writing and contributing to articles that are geared toward renewal and strengthening our Light.
Here are a couple of sources that I have been contributing articles and quotes to that are geared toward renewal and strengthening our Light.
Mind Key, an online community of healing professionals, recently published an article on getting outdoors as a way to tap into renewal. I am honored to have been quoted in the article with my Greenery Earrings featured.
Black Girl In Om first and foremost “Creates a space for women of color to breathe easy”. For Founder Lauren Ash, this is an inclusive statement that she uses to help open the doors to yoga, meditation, healthy food choices, spirituality and creativity to women who might otherwise feel left out. Here is the first part of an article I wrote for BGIO on blue gemstones associated with Serenity. The second part of the article will be published soon.
Thanks to everyone for all of the birthday wishes last week!
To be honest, I was deep under the weather – okay, I had the flu – for the last 2 weeks, and my birthday, which is also the anniversary of Amy Cousin Jewelry, was the last things on my mind. I slept. a. lot. last week. Feeling much better now, and I’m getting back into my studio.
Because I was dragging so, I didn’t think about doing anything special or having my annual sale. I thought I’d just let it pass especially since I’d just participated in the Tictail Valentines Day curated collection. But today I got an offer that is pretty much the best gift I could ever get – something I’ve wanted for a while. I know I’m being vague, and I hope to be able to reveal more soon.
I have a very short window to seize this gift and so I’m offering a gift to you, yes, in order to get a gift for myself. I actually think this came to me as a tap on my shoulder to not blow off my annual celebration!
So here it is – my gift to you. I’m having a flash sale Today – 40% off of everything on my website. You don’t need a code. Just get everything you want and the discount will be applied at checkout.
During this flash sale, I’m also offering custom jewelry consultations and will apply half of the fee to the piece I create for you. Email me at amy at amycousinjewelry dot com – we’ll set an appointment and generate an invoice.
here are a few tips and notes to get you through.
- Oops, I forgot to get a gift for …
Did you forget someone on your gift list? I still have some pendants available in the $35 to $50 range, including a few Upcycled Computer pendants and Rose Quartz & Prehnite pendants. Prehnite’s shade is in the range called Greenery – which is Pantone’s 2017 Color of the Year – so you’ll not only be giving someone a wonderfully healing gemstone combination, you’ll also give them a jump on fashion.
- I read that somewhere…
This year, I’ve been sharing my take on gemstone energy in a lot of places where women especially are seeking answers and solutions. Just this week, Amy Cousin Jewelry was featured in Mind Key, an online community of healing professionals, in an article written by my good friend, Dr. Lisa Avila.
- Color me confident and calm…
by tapping into the vibration of blue gemstones. Which ones, you ask? I wrote an article for Black Girl In Om with some beautiful suggestions.
- If you’re in the Twin Cities this week…Lauren Ash, the founder of Black Girl In Om, will be in Minneapolis leading a workshop at Yess Yoga on December 26th.Three Sisters Eclectic Arts, which carries Amy Cousin Jewelry, will be open Friday, December 23rd from 10 -8, and Saturday, December 24th from 10 – 3. Located in St. Paul, MN
- Every home should smell this fantastic…
I am so happy to announce that our Sirius Mind and Body incense sticks are back in stock! It has been a long wait, but well worth it – the fragrances are as phenomenal as our alcohol-free fragrance oils, and each stick burns for over an hour – no bitter smoky after-scent either. Just the way you remember them.
Big Hugs & Warm Smiles,
